R&D Report 1986-07 : VSB 2-PSK: a modulation system for digital sound with television. P. Shelswell, A.P. Robinson, R.P. Ritchie, P.R. Durrant This report describes VSB2-PSK, a modulation system suitable for the transmission of digital sound and data associated with a television signal. This modulation system shows good spectral efficiency and little sensitivity to the type of channel imperfections associated with typical television transmissions channels.
